Personal Profile

Zhengzhi Wang has worked as a full-time practicing attorney since may 2004, and has successively participated in or presided over the work concerning the amendment of more than 30 laws, legal consulting, and formulation or modification of local regulations. He provided service to nearly 100 large and medium-sized enterprises, relevant units or institutions at home and abroad. He also serves as the arbitrator in more than ten arbitration agencies, such as CIETAC/Beijing Arbitration Commission/World Intellectual Property Organization/Singapore International Arbitration Center/Shanghai International Arbitration Center. Many cases that he participated in or handled were selected as guiding cases of the Supreme People's Court. In June 2021, he was awarded as the “excellent expert” title by the civil administrative procuratorial expert consulting network of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

Work Highlights

• Established the analysis and evaluation system of Chinese intellectual property index, and published China Intellectual Property Index Report for 11 consecutive years;
• Handled the intellectual property disputes in Europe and America for some foreign-related enterprises, and promoted the Chinese lawyers to take the lead in the overseas dispute resolution and legal risk management;
• Attended No. 301 investigation and hearing meeting held in Washington D C, USA in May 2018;
• Attended the international legislation meeting held in New York, the General Headquarters of the United Nations in April 2019;
• Many cases that he participated in or handled were selected as guiding cases of the Supreme People's Court. In June 2021, he was awarded as the “excellent expert” title by the civil administrative procuratorial expert consulting network of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
