Introduction

Yun Jiang is a Partner of Globe-Law (Dalian) Law Firm, having more than 15 years' experiences in legal services. He has solved all kinds of important, complex and difficult maritime, insurance, international trade litigation and arbitration cases, many of which were brought to the Supreme People's Court and high courts at all levels, and obtained outstanding effect and result.


On March 2019, Yun Jiang was selected in “List of Thousands of Excellent Foreign-related Lawyers” appraised and elected by Ministry of Justice of P.R. China. On August 2020, Yun Jiang was appraised and elected by Liaoning Lawyers Association as “2018-2019 Excellent Lawyers in Liaoning”. On September 2021, Yun Jiang was appraised by Liaoning Lawyers Association as “Professional Lawyer in Foreign-related Field”.

Remarkable achievements

  • Represented MAXIMAS INTERNATIONAL GROUP LIMITED in the dispute with Haicheng Meifei Industry Co., Ltd. over a voyage charter party. This case was elected by the Supreme People's Court as “Top Ten National Typical Maritime Cases 2022” on June 30, 2023. (Dalian Maritime Court).
  • Handled the  litigation involving maritime injunction and demurrage fee under the background of sudden epidemic. This case was written in 2021 Supreme People's Court Work Report, and d elected by the Supreme People's Court as the “Top Ten National Typical Maritime Cases 2021” on Jun 7, 2022.   • Handled the claim of huge container demurrage fee arising from a matter that the goods not be taken delivery at the port of discharge in India. Winning ratio: 100%. This case was elected by Dalian Maritime Court as “Top Ten Typical Cases 2019”, and was elected by the Supreme People's Court as the Third Batch of Typical Cases relating to the Belt and Road Initiative Established in February 2022. (Dalian Maritime Court)
  • Handled the litigation involving the sale and rights confirmation of the  MV “LEDOR”. Winning ratio: 90%, and successfully obtained the proceeds from sale of the vessel for the client. This case was selected as the Typical Cases of People's Court Providing Judicial Services and Guarantees for the Belt and Road Initiative Established on July 8, 2015. (Xiamen Maritime Court) 
  • Handled the ship collision dispute arising from a ship collision accident between MV "Jin Sheng" and MV "Golden Rose" which was reported by CCTV. The huge shipwreck salvage fee and cleaning fee were successfully paid from the liability limitation fund. This case is a precedent judgment in China. (Qingdao Maritime Court)
  • Handled the ship collision dispute and marine insurance dispute arising from a ship collision accident between MV "Lu Rong Yuan Yu 378" and a foreign Oil Tanker which was reported by CCTV. Insurance compensation and collision recovery were solved together. Winning ratio: 80%. (Qingdao Maritime Court)
  • Handled the LMAA arbitration of a shipbuilding contract dispute between a Dalian Shipbuilding Company and a Bahrain's Buyer. Settlement was successfully achieved in arbitration. (London Maritime Arbitrators Association)
  • Handled the ship collision dispute arising from a ship collision accident between MT "NEW VENTURE" and MV "SHENG ZHOU 5". Obtained a favorable proportion of ship collision liability, and properly handled all kinds of vessel collision damage compensation such as vessel damage, cargo loss, and pollution prevention and cleaning expenses of the Maritime Safety Administration.   • Handled the series of claims arising from the sinking of MV "NASCO DIAMOND" carried laterite nickel ore. Properly handled multiple claims under an accident in all aspects. (Tianjin Maritime Court, Tianjin Higher People's Court, the Supreme People's Court, Shanghai Maritime Court, CMAC)
  • Handled the voyage charterparty dispute of MV "Win Grace". Winning ratio: 100%. (CMAC)
