Recently, Mr. Stephen Lo Chuen Shun, Head of Globe-Law Philippines Office, paid an official visit to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) of the Philippines, where he met with Attorney Roberto Malabot, former Philippine Commercial Consul to Hong Kong. The two sides held in-depth discussions on China-Philippines economic and trade cooperation, cross-border investment opportunities, and medium-to-long-term business development strategies, reaching consensus on multiple issues.

Mr. Lo has long been engaged in cross-border legal services between the Chinese mainland and the Philippines, providing comprehensive compliance assurance and professional legal support for mainland-funded enterprises investing in the Philippines, as well as for Philippine businesses expanding into the mainland market. During the meeting, he presented the development and operation of Globe-Law's integrated legal service network covering the Philippines and Hong Kong. Drawing on extensive practical experience, he outlined common legal risks and compliance priorities for mainland investors in key sectors such as infrastructure, clean energy, real estate development, and international trade. He also offered professional advice on optimizing cross-border investment legal procedures and improving diversified commercial dispute resolution mechanisms, with a view to providing solid legal protection for the lawful operations of mainland investors in the Philippines.

马拉博特律师结合多年服务香港及大中华市场的工作经验，介绍了菲律宾商务部最新招商引资政策、外资准入管理细则以及营商环境改革进展，重点解读了针对香港资本及内地企业的专项扶持措施。

Drawing on his extensive experience in Hong Kong and the Greater China market, Attorney Malabot shared the DTI's latest investment promotion policies, foreign investment access rules, and business environment reforms, with a focus on support measures for Hong Kong capital and mainland enterprises.

双方回顾了中菲两国长期稳固的经贸合作基础，一致认为专业法律服务与官方商务资源的深度协同，能够帮助投资者更加全面准确了解当地法律法规，保障企业依法合规经营，实现稳健可持续发展。

Both sides reviewed the solid foundation of bilateral economic cooperation and agreed that close collaboration between professional legal services and official resources can help investors better navigate local laws and regulations, ensuring compliant operations and sustainable growth.
